A local school in Bath is seeking a passionate and committed Part Time Teaching Assistant and MDSA to cover a temporary maternity contract. Part Time Teaching Assistant and MDSA
Temporary Maternity Cover Contract
From Monday 23rd February, or earlier to be discussed at interview
Dates and times as per Option 1 and 2 below – to be discussed at interview.
Teaching Assistant – 18 hrs 40 mins per week (8.45-12.00 Mon to Fri plus one afternoon per week 13.00 to 15.25)
SCP4 £25185 pa pro rata (£13.05 per hour)
Term time only plus 2 inset days, paid for 45.2 weeks per year
Actual salary £11016 pa
MDSA - 5 hrs per week (12.00 to 13.00 Mon to Fri)
SCP3 £24796 pa pro rata (£12.85 per hour)
Term time only, paid for 44.6 weeks per year
Actual salary £2866 pa
TOTAL : £13,882 pa
Teaching Assistant – 17 hrs per week (8.45-12.00 & 13.00-15.25) Weds to Fri)
SCP4 £25185 pa pro rata (£13.05 per hour)
Term time only plus 2 inset days, paid for 45.2 weeks per year
Actual salary £10030 pa
MDSA - 3 hrs per week (12.00 to 13.00 Weds to Fri)
SCP3 £24796 pa pro rata (£12.85 per hour)
Term time only, paid for 44.6 weeks per year
Actual salary £1719 pa
TOTAL : £11,749 pa
The children, staff and governors are looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teaching Assistant and MDSA to work at Bathwick St. Mary Church School. A team approach is one of our strengths at Bathwick and you will be working as part of a supportive and positive team with different children from the same year group during the day. Each child is valued and important and responding to their individual needs is essential so all children are well supported to be the best they can be.

You will need to have a passion to work with the class teacher and additional adults in supporting children to excel in the classroom and wider school.
