A primary school in Wigan is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children with special educational needs. This role requires experience with SEND and the ability to create a calm and nurturing environment. Salary: Grade 3, £19,613 - £20,235 per annum. £12.85 - £13.26 per hour
35 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year
Monday to Friday 8.30am 4:00pm with 30 minutes lunch
Temporary until August 2027 due to SEN Funding for a pupil in KS1 and will terminate earlier should the funding be withdrawn, or the child leaves the school.

Our Governors are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and highly skilled Teaching Assistant, who has experience of working with children with additional needs. This role will involve supporting children with SEND inside and outside the classrooms, a strong understanding of SEMH and ability to remain calm and supportive is essential.
