Teaching Assistants Primary & Secondary Schools (UK Experience Required) - Manchester

TeacherActive are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants with experience supporting pupils in UK primary or secondary schools. Whether you’re looking for day‑to‑day supply, short‑term cover, or longer‑term roles, we’d love to hear from you.

The role may include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Providing targeted support for pupils with additional learning needs
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
• Supporting behaviour, routines, and safeguarding expectations

We're looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK school (primary or secondary)- essential
• Are confident supporting learning and behaviour in the classroom
• Are reliable, adaptable, and able to hit the ground running
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people

A Level 2 or 3 Support Work in Schools/ Teaching Assistant/ Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification is desirable, but not essential.
