Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Salary: TA2, point 5-6

Hours: 30 hours per week, term time only + 5 TED Days (Flexible contract, 15-32 hours per week)

Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant at Holyoakes Field First School, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils’ learning and development. You will play an important role in helping children achieve their potential by providing targeted assistance both inside and outside the classroom. You will be expected to work Monday to Friday; working under the direction of the Senior Leadership Team.

Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of GCSE-level education
  • At least one year of experience working within an educational setting
  • Knowledge and/or practical experience of the primary school curriculum, including EYFS
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team
  • Demonstrated patience and empathy when supporting students
  • Strong commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and safeguarding
