Job summary

32.5 hours a week

Salary: £27,254 Pro Rata

The Governors are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our friendly and hard‑working team to support children’s learning in our KS1 and KS2 department.

Responsibilities
  • Creative and enthusiastic practitioner bringing own style and skills to support and enhance the excellent work developed throughout our school.
  • Caring and understanding individual enjoying working with children and committed to supporting high standards and enjoyment of learning with high expectations of all pupils.
  • Good understanding of attachment‑aware, trauma‑informed principles.
  • Experience of working with individual pupils and small groups.
  • Knowledge of a range of techniques making learning exciting and engaging.
  • Experience or desire to incorporate outdoor or adventurous learning.
  • Ability to work in genuine team atmosphere to achieve the best for our children and the school community.
  • Desire to be involved in all aspects of school life.
