Whether you are leading a small literacy group or assisting a child with specific learning requirements, you will be a key figure in their educational journey.
Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning.
Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues.
Foster positive relationships with children and their families.
Collaborate with fellow staf f members, including specialists.
Assist the class teacher in resource preparation and activit y setup.
Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards.
Provide assistance with lesson plans.
Support children across the curriculum.
Give extra support to children with special needs.
Help mark work and report student progress.
Help look after the children during school trips and activities.
Look after children that are unwell.
Attend meetings.
Confidence in guiding individuals or small groups.
