Teaching Assistant - Alternative Provision

Are you passionate about making a difference in young people's lives? Do you have the drive to support learners in reaching their full potential? We are working with an alternative provision school who are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their school based in Northamptonshire

The school specialises in alternative provision for students at Key Stages 3 and 4, providing a nurturing environment where learners can thrive, re-engage with education, and move on to positive destinations. This role is full time and will be ready to start as soon as possible.

The school are looking for successful Teaching Assistants who have the following qualities:

  • Skilled in engaging learners and motivating them to achieve their goals.
  • Passionate about providing emotional and academic support to students.
  • Qualified to at least GCSE level (Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths) or equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable about alternative provision and the needs of students with SEND.
  • Experienced in an education setting (or in a role working with young people).
  • Strong communicators, able to work professionally with students and colleagues.
  • Committed to promoting equality, diversity, safeguarding, wellbeing, and British values.
