Job description

Durrington All Saints Church of England Infant School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join its vibrant team and provide support to pupils starting as soon as possible.

Working Hours : Part time (13 hours per week Monday-Friday 39 weeks per year includes Teacher Training days). Contract : Fixed Term (until 22nd July 2026).

We are a welcoming Infant school educating children between the ages of 4 and 7 years. Situated in the heart of the charming village of Durrington Wiltshire we have strong relationships with the Junior School All Saints Church and the local community. We are incredibly proud of our inclusive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning which helps all our children to flourish and succeed. Within our Christian framework we aim to foster the growth of our children both academically and spiritually; developing responsible caring and happy individuals. We joined Acorn education Trust in May 2022 which provides exciting opportunities to improve local education collaborate with schools and draw on collective June 2025 we were proud to once again be confirmed as a good school by Ofsted.

As a Teaching Assistant you must be able to work across all age ranges within our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities including those requiring SEN support liaising with teachers and SENCO.

  • Has experience of supporting childrens learning.
