Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2 (One-to-One SEND Support)

Location: Liverpool

Start Date: As soon as possible

Contract Type: Temporary / Long-Term

Positions Available: 2 Roles

Key Stage: Primary (One-to-One SEND Support)

We are seeking two talented, committed, and experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school team. These full-time, long-term roles involve providing dedicated one-to-one support for pupils with SEND and offer the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children's learning and development.

Role Responsibilities
  • Provide one-to-one support for pupils with SEND
  • Support learning and development through targeted interventions and adapted strategies
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities
  • Implement SEN strategies and interventions (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, speech and language difficulties)
  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupils' social and emotional development
  • Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and external professionals
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • Experience working with children in a primary school setting
  • Level 2 Supporting Teaching & Learning in Schools (or equivalent qualification)
  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience supporting pupils with SEN
  • Knowledge of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • The ability to use initiative, adapt to changing situations, and maintain a positive attitude
  • A strong commitment to supporting learning and positive behaviour
  • A proven record of good attendance and reliability
