Job description

Vision for Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in Haverhill and surrounding villages, working with a variety of year groups both generally and on a one-to-one basis.

About the role

We are recruiting full‑time Teaching Assistants who will work both generally and in a 1:1 context with children across a range of classes. The role involves classroom duties as well as time outside the classroom. The appointment is temporary‑to‑permanent, with the possibility of becoming a permanent member of staff after a successful period.

Requirements

• Experience working in a school or a similar setting within the last 3 years (minimum 6 months)
• Holding a TA qualification (desirable but not essential)
• Experience working with children with SEND
• Commitment to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable adults (all staff undergo thorough interviewing, reference checks, and a mandatory Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service)

Salary

£89 to £95 per day, dependent on experience, training or qualifications.
