About the role

Teaching Assistant

Bolton BL2 Area

£2000- £2200 per month – (temporary, potential salary depending on experience and / or qualifications and number of hours worked each week)

The School and Role

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development in a dynamic classroom environment? We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Full‑Time Teaching Assistant to join one of our schools in Bolton.

As the main class Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher to help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Your role will involve supporting pupils of all abilities, helping to deliver high‑quality learning experiences, and promoting positive behaviour and wellbeing throughout the school day.

Requirements

The requested Teaching Assistant you will require;

  • KS1 Year 1 and Year 2 - Experience or confidence working with children.
  • A deep understanding of the National Curriculum framework or a willingness to learn this.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and professionals.
  • A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of all learners.
  • A positive, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to professional development and learning.
