Overview

Job Title: Teacher of Religious Studies. Location: Secondary School - Leyland. Contract: Long-term position with potential for Temp-to-Perm for the right candidate. Start Date: As soon as possible.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking.
  • Motivate and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and enrichment opportunities related to Religious Studies.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards across the department.
What We Look For
  • Holds QTS (or is working towards it) and has experience teaching Religious Studies at KS3 and KS4.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for RS.
  • Can build positive relationships with students and manage behaviour effectively.
