Job summary

A UK local authority is seeking a qualified teacher to cover maternity leave, teaching French and German across Key Stage 3 and 4. This temporary role is set to start in April 2026 with a 0.7 FTE commitment. Both ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a supportive team at a high-performing school in Bradford-on-Avon. About the Role
  • Hours : 0.7 FTE
  • Contract Type : Temporary Maternity Cover

(This Temporary appointment is to provide cover during the Maternity Leave of the permanent post holder, and will cease when she returns to duty or if the post becomes vacant)

The Head of Department is supported by one TLR post-holder. There are eight members of the team, and a mix of full and part time members.
