A local education authority in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated educator to teach assigned classes and contribute to curriculum development. Responsibilities include assessing and reporting on pupil work, preparing students for exams, and ensuring their welfare and safety. The successful candidate must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. This role is open to full-time, part-time, or job-share arrangements.

This post is considered to be a ‘Regulated Role’ under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020. Under the Act it is a legal requirement for an individual undertaking a regulated role with children or protected adults to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme. Therefore the successful candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check prior to any formal offer of employment being made by Moray Council.
Applications will also be considered from applicants who are provisionally registered and are able to take up unpromoted permanent positions on a temporary basis. Full time posts would also be suitable for applicants wishing to apply on a job-share or part-time basis.
