Are you a passionate and skilled teacher of French and Spanish seeking a fresh challenge for January 2026? Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be supporting a thriving, forward-thinking secondary academy on the Stockport/Trafford border in their search for an outstanding Modern Languages teacher. This full-time role runs from January to July 2026 and offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact within a vibrant MFL department.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable linguist who can inspire students across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
Key features of the role include:

  • Teaching French and Spanish across KS3 and KS4
  • Full-time commitment, Monday to Friday
  • The ability to bring creative approaches to behaviour management and engagement
  • Confident delivery of AQA GCSE content for both languages
  • A flexible timetable that can be weighted towards French or Spanish, depending on your strengths
    The academy welcomes applications from ECTs, experienced QTS teachers, and FE lecturers with experience teaching French and Spanish to learners aged 11-16.
