Are you a qualified Teacher of English seeking a temporary teaching role in the Widnes area starting in January 2026?

If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you! Tradewind Recruitment, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently looking for a committed and passionate English Teacher to join a college in Widnes.

Position Details

We are recruiting on behalf of Widnes College, who require a GCSE English specialist.

To be considered, you must have experience marking AQA English Language, as the role will include marking and other administrative duties.

The role is to start in January and will continue until Easter (in the first instance).

  • All lessons will be fully planned.
  • Part‑time position: 4 days per week (Monday–Thursday).
  • Working hours: 8.15am‑4.30pm.
  • Competitive daily rates, negotiable based on experience.

Essential Requirements

  • The legal right to work in the UK.
