We are seeking to appoint an inspiring and creative Teacher of Drama to join our successful and well‑established Drama department. This vacancy has arisen due to an internal promotion to the Senior Leadership Team, and therefore represents an exciting opportunity to join the school mid‑year.
The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality Drama lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, ignite a passion for performance and creativity, and contribute to a culture of excellence and expression. Drama is a valued subject at The Streetly Academy, with strong senior leadership support and excellent outcomes at GCSE and A Level.
At Key Stage 3, Drama is taught for one lesson per week, providing students with a broad and engaging foundation. At Key Stage 4 and 5, students follow the OCR GCSE/A Level Drama specification. Experience of teaching OCR is desirable but not essential; however, a working knowledge of the specification would be advantageous.
