We are currently seeking to fill the position of Teacher of Biology and Environmental Science at Downside School.

Teacher of Biology and Environmental Science - Full Time - September 2026

Downside School has a vacancy for a full time Teacher of Biology and Environmental Science to join the Science faculty from September 2026. Are you passionate about helping pupils develop as learners in a highly supportive and academically ambitious school environment? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Ideally you will be an experienced Teacher of Biology and Environmental Science with the ability to teach Years 7 to 13, up to Oxbridge entrance level, although applications from ECTs are also welcome.

It is essential that our Teacher of Biology and Environmental Science is an effective team member, who can help to promote Science by means of academic enrichment and is willing to seek opportunities to develop teaching and learning within the subject.

Our Teacher of Biology and Environmental Science will be someone who:
