The Tax Senior Role

A leading firm in Northampton is seeking an ATT qualified Tax Senior with 2-3 years of corporate tax experience to join their team. This Tax Senior role offers a mix of compliance and advisory work, providing the opportunity to take ownership of client portfolios and contribute immediately to the success of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse range of clients, providing both compliance and advisory services. Approximately 40 percent of the role will focus on compliance, preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and ensuring timely submissions. The remaining 60 percent will involve advisory work, with the Tax Senior helping clients navigate complex tax planning issues and optimize their financial strategies.
• Review the work of junior team members, offering guidance and mentoring to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
• Strong client communication and relationship management are essential for the Tax Senior to succeed in this role.

Requirements

• ATT qualified with 2-3 years of corporate tax experience, preferably in a practice environment.
