Role overview

The role involves the management of UK corporate tax compliance, reporting and advice, delivering optimal tax efficiency in line with the Group Tax Standard, ensuring that the group's tax risk is appropriately mitigated and controlled.

The role
  • Prepare, review, and manage UK corporation tax computations and returns for UK entities.
  • Deliver accurate quarterly and annual tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS.
  • Manage current and deferred tax accounting, including insurance-specific items.
  • Act as the main point of contact with HMRC for UK corporate tax matters.
  • Manage tax payments, instalment calculations, and cash tax forecasting.
  • Provide UK tax advice on business initiatives, restructurings, and transactions.
  • Monitor changes in UK tax legislation and assess business impact.
  • Liaise with auditors and external advisor.
