Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Tax Advisory Manager or Senior Manager based in Cheshire. You will join a dynamic and independent tax advisory practice with a century-plus heritage of delivering outstanding business and tax advice across the UK. The successful candidate will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values ownership, creative problem solving, and clear, client-focused service delivery.

In this role you will lead and grow a high-performing tax advisory function, providing strategic advice to a diverse client base including owner-managed businesses and larger corporate groups. You will manage complex tax planning engagements, deliver high-quality advisory solutions and strengthen client relationships through commercial insight and technical excellence. Business development and networking will be key components, with significant scope to influence and expand the firm’s footprint in the North West and beyond.

You will also play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing tax professionals, supporting continuous learning and performance improvement. This position is suited to a commercially astute tax specialist with proven leadership skills, excellent technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and a strong commitment to client service.
