Overview

Rapiscan Detection is an industry leader in detection technology, providing cargo and vehicle inspection systems and services for ports, borders, military, high‑threat facilities, and checkpoints to help customers combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud. We offer a broad array of scanning system configurations that leverage low, medium, and high‑energy X‑ray technology or multiple X‑ray technologies to address each customer’s unique security application requirements.

Role Overview
The role will be based in Stoke on Trent

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our Talent Acquisition Team. This role is essential in delivering a seamless recruitment experience for candidates and hiring managers, supporting the full recruitment lifecycle.

You will work closely with Talent Acquisition Partners, Hiring Managers, and external partners to ensure our recruitment processes are efficient, engaging, and aligned with our employer brand.

Responsibilities
  • Vacancy Advertising: Post job openings internally and externally using our ATS (iCIMS), LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Recruitment Campaigns: Design and execute attractive, engaging, and effective recruitment campaigns, including direct sourcing.
  • Application Screening: Assist Talent Acquisition Partners and Hiring Managers in screening applications of high‑volume roles.
  • Interview Coordination: Arrange interviews (in‑person and virtual), manage diaries, and ensure smooth scheduling.
  • Candidate Experience: Provide proactive and informative candidate management, ensuring candidates are engaged and informed throughout the process.
  • Hiring Manager Support: Equip managers with tools and guidance for effective interviews; assist in collecting interview notes and delivering timely feedback to candidates.
  • External Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and advertising partners.
  • Background / Reference Checks: Launch the reference check process with our third‑party and manage the process.
  • Advertising Strategy: Support the development of our advertising strategy, offering insights into digital channels, SEO optimization, and emerging trends.
  • ATS Expertise: Act as a super user within our ATS (iCIMS), improving usability and functionality for business users.
  • Offer Management: Work with the Talent Acquisition & HR teams to issue employment offers in the EMEA regions.
  • Team Collaboration: Provide cover for other Talent Acquisition team members during leave periods to maintain a consistent experience for candidates and stakeholders.
  • Projects & Initiatives: Actively participate in Talent Acquisition and HR team projects, including employer branding and process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in recruitment coordination or talent acquisition support.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with ATS systems (iCIMS preferred) and recruitment tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Knowledge of employment compliance (Right to Work checks) is desirable.
