The role is part of the Mission Systems Delivery Team (MSDT), responsible for the design and delivery of the Mission System for the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). The team follows an agile work planning process to develop mission system concepts, architectures, and designs, ensuring that solutions are innovative, robust, and aligned with programme objectives.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Edgewing teams, contributing to secure and resilient system designs while collaborating across multiple disciplines. You will engage with engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure that mission system designs meet technical, operational, and security requirements.
The position is based at our Warton site, with regular travel to other BAE Systems locations across the UK and to customer and industry partner sites in the UK, Italy, and Japan.
