You will take and transfer calls, resolve queries, and ensure exceptional customer service. The position allows for hybrid working arrangements. Ideal candidates will have a background in insurance or loss adjusting and possess excellent communication skills.

Working Hours: The role can be hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 from home

We are looking for an experienced Switch Board Operator / Telephonist from a Loss Adjusting background to provide telephony support to our Loss Adjusters in the handling of a mixed portfolio of domestic and commercial property insurance claims.
You will form part of the loss adjusting support team based in central Manchester. Remote / hybrid working can be considered. You will be conscious of the company ethos and provide at all times a high level of customer service. An excellent telephone manner and good communication skills are a must.
As a telephonist, you will be responsible for taking and transferring incoming calls to the business together with answering basic queries from the claims file.
A sound background in an insurance environment would be advantageous.
