Overview

You will be supporting us with your skills on the socials! Assisting us to create posts in bulk about our collections and current projects. Helping out on short term project (i.e. YouTube filming with the content team). Potential for learning about website management.

As a Supporting Volunteer you will feel part of the team, with plenty of opportunity to learn more about a variety of subjects like digital media, SAP, and CRM. You will make a difference by being an additional voice in the team, supporting our steering groups to make sure we’re doing the best we can for our volunteers and staff alike.

Why we want you

Our Supporter volunteers ensure that the day to day nuts and bolts of the waterways happen be that monitoring activities on the towpath or that the running of teams and the necessary processes happen in the background. This can be anything from working with our Social Media Team to assisting with location and filming for productions. Our Supporting Volunteers also support our teams within our offices and even on the Towpath conducting audits.

  • This role can potentially be done from home.
  • When you register as a volunteer, we will ask you about any unspent convictions which you need to declare and risk assess these as needs be.
