A leading energy company in the UK is seeking a Supporting Consents Officer to join their Lands & Consents team. This role encompasses securing necessary permits for projects, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality delivery of environmental assessments. National Grid is hiring a Supporting Consents Officer within National Grid Venture’s Lands & Consents function business. Due to an increasing portfolio of emerging UK-based projects in NGV’s business, we are seeking to grow the Lands and Consents team (L&C) which operates across NGV’s diverse portfolio of low carbon and renewable energy projects. You’ll play a role in expanding the knowledge, skills and capability in planning and consenting major infrastructure projects. As a Supporting Consents Officer, you will be responsible for securing the necessary permits and consents for our emerging projects. You will be responsible for the contractual and financial performance of 3rd parties as well as providing oversight on their technical activities. Reporting to the Consents Manager, you’ll use your knowledge to support our project teams developing new assets with an immediate focus on offshore hybrid assets and interconnectors to Europe. We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements. We’d hope to see you in our Warwick office one or 2 days a week, and you’ll also need to be flexible to travel to other offices and project sites as required.
A competitive salary between £42,781 - £50,000 per annum- dependent on capability. As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
