Job summary

Overview

As a Supported Housing and Contracts Officer you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our supported housing schemes, both leased and directly managed. You will be the main contact for our managing agents, ensuring that they meet their contractual obligations. You'll coordinate the completion of escalated maintenance works, planned maintenance programmes and recommend improvements and adaptations to projects. In your directly managed properties you will be responsible for rent and housing duties and carrying our weekly fire panel inspections.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of supported housing schemes (leased and directly managed).
  • Act as the main contact for managing agents and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Coordinate escalated maintenance works and planned maintenance programmes.
  • Recommend improvements and adaptations to projects.
  • Be responsible for rent and housing duties in directly managed properties and conduct weekly fire panel inspections.
  • Log and monitor enquiries and complaints.
  • Manage the teams databases and maintain excellent IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with experience across different systems.
  • Apply understanding of contract management and compliance, SLAs, and provision of support services to vulnerable tenants.
  • Experience in report writing and data collation/analysis.
  • Own transport would be an advantage but is not essential.
Qualifications
  • Background in housing (general or supported housing) and strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with external and internal customers.
  • Experience logging and monitoring enquiries and complaints and managing team databases.
Benefits
  • Permanent full-time (37 hours per week), office two days a week and remote for the other three.
  • Salary circa £32,000 – £40,000 per year depending on experience.
