Your role will involve assisting him to lead an independent life at home and aiding him in accessing therapies , activities and social events.
This is a part-time position:

The Client:
- Our client is a highly independent younger man who is constantly striving for greater self-sufficiency.
- He possesses a positive personality, enjoying both deep conversations and light hearted moments.
- His passion for music extends to playing the guitar and keyboard!
- He may experience frustration when unable to complete tasks independently or when lacking the necessary support.
- He currently uses mobility aids such as a walking frame and electronic wheelchair outdoors, working towards further mobility progress.
The Applicant:
As a Support Worker, you will need:
- To be able to cover a mixture of shifts Monday to Sunday: 9am-5pm
- Weekend availability is essential.
- A clean driving licence is a must, and you should be a confident driver, willing to learn how to operate the client's automatic vehicle.
- Strong observation, communication, and reporting skills are vital, as you will work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Have a wide range of interests and be happy with plenty of physical activity
- To be a team player who exudes confidence and cooperation!
- Strong motivator able to support a highly independent adult
- To be happy following agreed policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- You do not need any experience or particular qualifications for this role, however, it would be useful to have some experience of a support/ PA role working with complex adults.
