Comprehensive training will be given. Candidates must be willing to work towards an NVQ/Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care.

You must be caring, highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Duties include promoting independence in service users homes and may include aspects of personal care e.g. washing, bathing.
  • Some service users present challenging behaviours for which an agreed programme of PMVA (prevention & Management of Violence & Aggression) may be in place; full training will be given.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Willingness to work towards an NVQ/Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care.
  • Enhanced DBS is required; initial costs will be met by the employer and claimed back in deduction of wages.
  • Must be caring, highly motivated and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
  • Successful candidates may be required to work some of the following: weekends; evenings; bank holidays; sleep ins and possibly waking nights.
