A social care agency is recruiting a level 3 qualified Support Worker in Weston-super-Mare for a vulnerable young female with complex mental health needs. Job description

Highbridge Resourcing are a Social Care Agency and we are recruiting a level 3 qualified Support Worker to work with a vulnerable young female on a 2 to 1 care package based in Weston Super Mare. The young person is in her 20's and has complex mental health needs. She lives in her own accommodation and she requires a support worker to join the existing team.

The support worker role is available on a temporary long term basis and requires commitment and stability. You can give your availability on a weekly or monthly basis to the manager and she will issue your shifts accordingly. You MUST be available to work consistently each week.

The shifts available are
  • day shift 0800-2300 plus sleep.
The ideal support worker MUST have :
  • Have an NVQ level 3 in children and young people, or equivalent qualification (such as Counselling, Psychology Degree, Access to Nursing, Education Diploma) - ESSENTIAL
  • Have at least 6 months paid experience in children and young people or similar support worker role in the UK.
  • Be a car driver / owner
  • Experience of working with complex mental health
