A non-profit organization located in Godalming seeks a Care Assistant to help vulnerable individuals with daily tasks. Ideal candidates will be caring, motivated, and flexible. Experience in care is preferred, but excellent training is provided. This full-time role comes with various benefits including a contributory pension and development opportunities.
1 x Full-time role available of 36 hours per week. Occasional hours contracts available covering for annual leave and sickness.
Shift patterns are 07:30-19:30 or nights 19:30-07:30 consisting of either a 6 or 11.5 hour shift.
A night enhancement of £1.50 per hour will apply from 8pm to 7am Monday – Sunday (this does not apply to sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour will be paid from 7am to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday.

Our service, located in beautiful rural Godalming, Surrey actively involves its users in their local community, where they take part in a wide range of activities using local resources.
Care Assistant, Support Worker or similar experience is desirable but not essential. We offer an excellent training and induction programme for everyone!
To be successful in this role you will:
*We are currently under consultation proposing a change to the enhancement rates paid. If the proposal is accepted, from 1 December 2025 new enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday – 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-ins.
