Support Worker – Fareham
Full Time, Permanent | Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm | £13.68 per hour

GSL Education are looking for a caring and dedicated Support Worker to join a supportive secondary school in Fareham, Hampshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for helping young people overcome barriers to learning and thrive both academically and personally.

The Role:

Full-time Support Worker, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Working closely with students who require additional guidance and support

Offering academic, social, and emotional assistance to pupils in both group and 1:1 settings

Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral staff to create an inclusive learning environment

Encouraging independence, confidence, and resilience in students

The Successful Candidate Will:

Ideally have experience supporting young people with additional needs (though training can be provided)

Be patient, empathetic, and resilient, with the ability to build strong, positive relationships

Bring a flexible and proactive approach to supporting students across different settings

Have a genuine commitment to improving outcomes for young people
