What You’ll Be Doing

As a Support Worker, you’ll play a key role in helping adults with disabilities, including those with profound and complex needs to live their best lives through person-centred support.

Your responsibilities will include
  • Providing emotional and practical support that empowers people to achieve their personal goals.
  • Supporting individuals to access their community, take part in local activities, and build social connections.
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, such as medication, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Encouraging independence by helping people develop new skills and pursue hobbies or interests.
  • Building trusting relationships to improve wellbeing and quality of life.
About You

We’re looking for someone who brings positivity, patience, and genuine care to their work. You’ll also have:

  • Experience supporting people with Learning Disabilities, mental health conditions, complex needs, and challenging behaviours.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  • IT literacy and a proactive “can-do” attitude.
  • Above all, a compassionate heart and a passion for making a real difference.
