A national social care provider in Whetstone is seeking a Support Worker to provide practical and emotional care for individuals with diverse needs. The role involves implementing support plans, assisting with daily activities, and maintaining effective communication with service users and families. Ideal candidates will have a Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to pursue one, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping vulnerable adults. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, flexible work hours, and opportunities for growth within the company.
£11.94 per hour
35 hours per week
28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays

To participate in the day to day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment.
To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and others whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality.
To support service users with the preparation of Meals, Laundry duties, cleaning and social events.
To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required.
To work as part of a team to provide high quality care.
Diploma in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards one.
Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and / or mental health issues.
The ability to keep calm under pressure.
The confidence to work alone or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
The passion to work with vulnerable adults.
The desire and commitment to achieve high standards of safeguarding.
