Dimensions are a leading not-for-profit provider of support to adults with learning disabilities and autism. Support Workers in Stanwell will work with 4 people who live in their own home. You will empower the independence of the people we support by enabling them to live the life that they choose.
The people we support would like to meet a full-time Support Worker. Shifts patterns are between the hours of 7.00 am – 10.00 pm (no night support required). Dimensions can offer a pay rate of £12.65 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Support 4 people in their own home and assist with daily living activities as required.
- Carry out and support activities including shopping trips, leisure activities (cinema, bowling), meals out (pub lunches, Nando’s, Macy D’s), watching wrestling (TV or at local events), theatre visits, and setting up karaoke evenings at home.
- Assist with healthy balanced meal planning and cooking, and support with personal care and maintaining health and wellbeing.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Organised team players who can work with others to support the people in their care.
- Full-time availability with shifts between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm.
- Enhanced DBS disclosure required (cost borne by Dimensions).
