Overview

Support Worker – Dinnington - £12.96 ph

Shifts: 12 hrs 8am - 8pm; 1 week work 4 days and the following week 3 days

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Female Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. You’ll help people gain more independence in daily life, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.

Our residential service in Dinnington is a welcoming environment. You’ll enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging local community access, socialising and doing activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs; the next you could unwind with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone looking to make a difference and help someone grow in confidence and independence to reach their goals (e.g., making dinner independently or going on holiday).

Qualifications and requirements
  • Full UK driving license
  • Resilient, flexible and composed in approach
  • Experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice
  • Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma
