Overview

Job Title: Support Worker | Location: Sheffield (S11) | Pay Rate: £95 – £120 per day (depending on experience) | Start Date: Immediate | Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-time

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support for individuals with varying needs, promoting independence and wellbeing.
  • Assist with personal care, daily routines, and social development activities.
  • Support individuals in accessing learning opportunities and community engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • Maintain accurate records of progress and ensure safeguarding practices are followed at all times.
Requirements for Support Worker
  • Previous experience in a care or support role is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong communication, patience, and empathy skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and use initiative when needed.
  • Flexibility and commitment to promoting equality and inclusion.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
