Overview

Aspire provides extraordinary support for exceptional people living with Dementia, Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or complex health needs in Salford and the surrounding areas. We offer a range of day services, respite care, supported living, and community and carer support, helping people to live their lives, their way. We are passionate about supporting people to achieve their own personal goals, dreams, and ambitions.

We would like to welcome enthusiastic and motivated Support Workers to join our Learning Disability Services team, based at our St George’s Community Hub and Cafe, where we provide day support to people with mild to moderate learning disabilities and health needs, emphasising developing life skills in a modern and vibrant environment.

Responsibilities
  • You could find yourself supporting someone to enjoy an afternoon of arts and crafts, drama or sports, or supporting people to take part in activities in their local community. No two days are ever the same!
  • Some people we support may require assistance with personal care and daily living tasks, including feeding and administering of medication.

Full training will be provided, but a commitment to enhancing quality of life and wellbeing is essential.

What we are looking for
  • You don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications in health and social care. We are looking for people to join our diverse work team and bring their personalities into the workplace. We will provide all the training and support you will need to become an excellent support worker.
  • You will need to have a positive attitude, professionalism, compassion, a caring nature, and core values that match our own!
Requirements
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, Visa Sponsorship is not available for this role.
  • Enhanced DBS Disclosure is required for our support worker roles.
