Fantastic opportunity for a fun, energetic and optimistic SUPPORT WORKER to join our friendly team!

Competitive pay rate - £13.54 per hour.

Part Time contract (24hrs) or Relief (Bank)

Based in the village of Rufforth - easily commutable from York, Harrogate and Leeds

Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential, but we'll pay your mileage to and from work if you get a business insurance!

Who will I be supporting?

You’ll be supporting a young man with complex needs to live his best life — his way.

He lives independently in the beautiful village of Rufforth, where he enjoys staying active through walking, cycling, and swimming. He shares his home with his much-loved support dog, who’s always ready for cuddles! He also enjoys listening to music, going to the cinema, and spending quality time with his family.

We’re looking for someone patient, caring, and confident, with experience supporting people with complex behavioural needs, to join his close-knit team.

What will I be doing?
  • Build and develop independent living skills
  • Take part in everyday activities like shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry
  • Manage his medication safely and effectively
  • Explore opportunities in education, employment, and leisure
  • Live life to the fullest, with encouragement and compassion every step of the way

What are the shifts?
  • We are recruiting for Day shifts, 7:30am - 7pm
  • We’re looking for people with flexibility to work on a rota basis that includes a combination of these shifts across weekdays and weekends
  • Rotas are provided at least 4 weeks in advance to support a healthy work life balance - something we're very passionate about!
