Job summary

A healthcare services provider in Hemel Hempstead is looking for a Support Worker to assist a 15-year-old with an acquired brain injury. This role requires providing daily support for school attendance and fostering independence. Qualifications

About the role

Support Worker, Hemel Hempstead, HP2. £18.20 gross per hour. Start Date: ASAP. Offer gentle encouragement, positive reinforcement and consistent structure to help Lucy thrive. This role involves supporting Lucy to attend school, so having your own car and business insurance is essential.

Responsibilities

Support Lucy (15 years old with an acquired brain injury) to attend school and build confidence and independence.

Working Hours
  • Term time: 3–5 mornings per week (depending on family needs), 7:00 am–10:00/10:30 am.
  • 1 after-school shift per week, 1:30 pm–5:30 pm (day agreed).
  • School holidays: flexible daytime hours, 2 days per week.
