A community support organization in Buntingford seeks a motivated Crisis Wellbeing Coach to provide essential mental health support. The role involves delivering individualized and group wellbeing sessions, assisting individuals in managing their crises and building coping skills. Candidates should have experience in support or care roles and exhibit compassion and strong communication skills. The position offers competitive salary, additional pay for night shifts, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.
Join a new Crisis Wellbeing Centre and help others find their way through tough times. The new 24‑hour crisis support service is opening in Buntingford this January. The Crisis Centre will provide a safe, calm space for up to seven people at a time who are experiencing a mental health crisis, offering compassionate, short‑term support as an alternative to hospital admission.
We’re looking for empathetic, reliable, and motivated individuals to join the team as Crisis Wellbeing Coaches. You’ll provide practical and emotional support, help people build coping skills, and deliver structured wellbeing interventions — with full training and resources provided. You’ll be part of a supportive, friendly team where kindness, respect, and growth are at the heart of the work. This is a rewarding role for those who want to make a tangible impact on people’s lives while developing their own skills and experience in mental health.
The basic salary is £24,920 per annum, but you will have an opportunity to earn additional pay as below.
Sleep‑in rate: approximately £75 per night (in addition to working hours). Waking night rate: £15 per hour (inclusive of working hours).
