Overview

Support Worker job description. The recipient is a Lady aged 55 years old residing in the Bridlington area. The role requires supporting her for 8 hours per week, 2 days per week at 4 hours each day. The Lady has poor mobility and fibromyalgia. She enjoys arts and crafts, nature and wildlife, historic places and buildings, museums, coffee, food and loves the beach.

Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Meal preparation - support with batch cooking for the week.
• Assisting the individual with accessing activities and spending time out in the local and wider community.
• Attending/transporting the individual to social activities and appointments.
• Encouraging social interaction.
• Domestic support and any other household support, including shopping.
• Personal care as needed.
