A leading care provider in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Support Worker to aid in the independence of individuals requiring additional support. Duties include supervising day-to-day operations, allocating shifts, and managing client finances. Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, driving experience for over a year, and expertise in supporting those with trauma. This role offers a pay rate starting at £13.77 per hour, along with enhanced benefits and training opportunities.
Due to the location of this service you will require your own vehicle to h=ger=t here, we also require you to have held a UK driving licence for 1 year and be over 21 years old for insurance purposes. As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision's, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care, as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, autism, forensic histories and people who have experienced trauma.
Applicants must hold a UK driving licence for at least one year and be over 21 years old.
Pay rate starts at £13.77 per hour. Typical shifts are 7:00 a.m. – 19:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m. – 20:30 p.m.
