A healthcare service in the United Kingdom is looking for a compassionate and motivated nurse to join their colorectal team. The successful candidate will deliver specialist care for colorectal cancer patients and support the Clinical Nurse Specialist. Applicants should have relevant NMC registration and relevant experience in a colorectal cancer setting. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient advocacy, and professional development within a supportive structure.
We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic and motivated nurse to join our well established and supportive colorectal team. You will be an integral part of the team providing co-ordination and organisation of care for colorectal patients along the cancer pathway. You will need good communication and interpersonal skills and a good knowledge of the care needs for colorectal cancer patients and their carers.
This is a opportunity for nurses who have experience within a colorectal cancer setting and want to further enhance their skills and knowledge within this speciality.
The post holder is responsible for delivering a high standard of specialist nursing care within the specialist Colorectal Cancer and Stoma Care Service and will support the Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in ensuring high standards of nursing care are provided to all patients receiving care in the specialty. The post holder will be department based. The post holder will support the CNS in providing professional advice to members of the multidisciplinary team; assist in developing the skills and knowledge of staff to deliver high quality care and achieve the performance targets for the specialty
