Support Assistant - Gibside School

Contract Type: Term-time only (Permanent). Working Pattern: Part time - term time. Salary: £20,164 - £20,530 plus SSA £1,213 - £1,235 (depending on length of service). Responsibilities
  • Support Assistant role involving pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Work with multi-disciplinary colleagues, parents and carers to support pupils socially, emotionally and educationally.
  • Contribute to an environment that inspires, motivates and challenges children to become confident, cooperative, independent learners.

Gibside School is rated Outstanding by Ofsted. The school serves around 200 children aged 3 to 11 who have a range of needs, including ASC, PMLD and SLD. The aim is to inspire, motivate and challenge all learners and to build confident, cooperative, independent learners.
