Job Title: Supply SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Across East London
Agency: Veritas Education
Job Type: Adhoc & Part-Time (with potential for short-term full-time placements)
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience and assignment)

About the Role

Veritas Education is currently recruiting passionate and reliable Supply SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a variety of Primary, Secondary and SEN schools in East London. This flexible role is perfect for candidates looking for part-time work with the potential to take on short-term full-time placements.

You will be working on an adhoc, day-to-day basis, covering staff absences or providing 1:1 or small group SEN support. Some placements will be offered on the morning of the workday, while others may come with advance notice.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting children with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Assisting class teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to support pupils\' educational and emotional development
  • Adapting support to meet individual needs
  • Promoting a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for all pupils
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
  • Must be available for early morning calls (from 7:00am onwards)
  • Willingness to travel up to 1 hour via public transport or car across East London
  • Flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential
  • Must be fully vetted (Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply, references, Right to Work documentation, etc.)
