Primary Teachers - Supply & Long-Term Opportunities

Location: South Leeds, West Yorkshire

Contract: Flexible Supply / Short-Term / Long-Term Positions

Salary: £150 - £190 per day (depending on experience and role)

Your Responsibilities

• Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to the needs of all learners.
• Creating a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that inspires children to reach their potential.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively, maintaining high expectations, and promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborating with school staff, including teaching assistants and senior leadership, to support pupil progress.
• Differentiating lessons to accommodate students with varying abilities and learning needs, including experience in teaching phonics and early reading skills.
• Adapting to different school cultures and developing lasting relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching in UK primary schools, with a particular focus on Key Stage 1 and phonics instruction.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.
• A genuine passion for making a difference in children's education and development.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and parents.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
