Overview

Supply Teacher – Primary Schools (Mainstream and Special) – various locations

Salary: £34,938 – £52,614 (pro‑rata for part‑time). Hours: 0 hour contract.

Primary Teaching Supply register – teach in either primary mainstream or primary special schools, or both. Applicants must be available during the 2025/26 school session.

Key Requirements
  • Sector GTCS registration.
  • Availability to accept placements once pre‑employment checks have been completed.
Pre‑employment Checks

Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Individuals with more than 3 months out of the UK in the last 5 years must provide an overseas criminal record check. An unconditional offer will only be made after satisfactory checks.

Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
