Supply Teacher - Primary Schools across Epsom and Ewell
  • Location: Epsom and Ewell
  • Start date: Flexible; ASAP
  • Start time: 8:30am arrival

Tradewind Recruitment are expanding their workforce of Supply Teachers across the Epsom and Ewell area. We support a number of Primary Schools across the area who regularly request flexible and local Primary Teachers to support covering absences of their permanent teaching staff.

We are looking for experienced and passionate Primary Trained Teachers who can reach Epsom and Ewell, who are happy to support one form entry up to four form entry Primary Schools across this area. We have plenty of opportunity to support multiple schools!

Whether you're an ECT keen to gain experience across different schools or an experienced teacher looking for flexibility, we can offer you consistent, rewarding work.

What to expect as a Supply Teacher?
  • Deliver lessons based on the absent teacher's plans-or create your own if necessary-to ensure continuity of students' learning.
  • Supervise and engage students during lessons, breaks, lunch, detention, and other school routines.
  • Manage classroom behaviour, enforce expectations, and uphold the school's behaviour policies.
  • Take registers, attend assemblies, and undertake other day‑to‑day duties of the permanent teacher.
  • Ensure a safe, secure learning environment and follow school safety protocols (e.g., fire drills, safeguarding).

  • Open to working with either EYFS or Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 on a supply basis
  • Able to travel across varying Primary Schools in Surrey for an 8:15-8:30am arrival
  • Contribute to the values and ethos of the school
