Supply Teacher – Secondary Schools (Kent)

Simply Education is working closely with a range of secondary schools across Kent, and we are currently seeking reliable and confident Supply Teachers to support schools with day-to-day and long-term cover.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, work flexibly, or take the next step towards a career in education.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will:

  • Supervise whole classes during the short‑term absence of a teacher
  • Deliver pre‑set work and ensure students remain on task
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff and school leadership
  • Work across a range of subjects at Key Stages 3 and 4
We're Looking For
  • Experience working with young people (education‑based experience preferred)
  • Confidence in managing a classroom environment
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • A flexible, professional and proactive approach
  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
